About Us
Fred has a BA from Colby College and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He spent 10 years with Corning, Inc. in various accounting and operations management capacities including plant controller, production planning, ERP systems evaluation, manufacturing and distribution management. Fred has been the president of FMG Systems for 16 years and a business systems consultant assisting clients including:
- Manufacturers - long and short lead time custom products, repetitive operations and bio-tech
- Distributors - industrial and consumer products
- Back office financial operations - insurance providers, medical facilities
- Contractors
Sharon graduated with a Bachelors of Science from State University of New York at Binghamton. She has been with FMG Systems, Inc. for 10 years - supporting Sage MAS90, BusinessWorks, Libra Software, CounterPoint and providing general accounting services. Sharon's experience also includes:
- Staff Accountant at Garbade Construction, a general contractor, for 13 years. Responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
- Accounting Software Consultant at Application Systems Group for 5 years. Supported Libra Accounting Software, Novell Networks.
- Sharic, Inc. for 3 years. Supported Libra Accounting Software.
Don earned a BA from Colby College. He has been involved in software implementations since the mid 1970's, including 10 years as manager of consulting for a regional CPA firm, specializing in system feasibility studies, software selection, implementation, and system auditing. He also worked as a software installer and trainer for 10 years. Don joined FMG Systems in 2000 and is responsible for working with prospective customers on:
- Current system audit
- Implementation and migration strategies
- Business solution selection
Rose graduated with a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine. She worked for 16 years in accounting positions such as; Accounting Manager, Controller and Director of Finance in the distribution and manufacturing sectors. During that time, she completed additional education to earn several Information Technology certifications including: MCSE, MCDBA, MCT, CCNA AND Net+. She also worked as a technology trainer for 2 years. Rose joined FMG Systems in 2003 as a Business System Consultant specializing in:
- Retail systems implementation, training and support - Counterpoint
- E-commerce solutions for retail, manufacturing and distribution
- SQL database implementation for MAS200 SQL, CounterPoint SQL
